As snow hits South Cariboo, forecast calls for afternoon storm in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — While a spring storm is forecast for the B.C. Interior Wednesday afternoon, wintery conditions hit the South Cariboo in the morning.

Environment Canada is calling for showers and thunderstorms in the Kamloops area today (April 10).

The forecaster is also predicting strong winds accompanying the storm system, gusting up to 70 kilometres-per-hour.

Meantime, residents of 100 Mile House saw snowfall Wednesday morning.
