KAMLOOPS — Police are seeking two suspects in connection to a shooting on Friday that left one man dead.

Kamloops RCMP Sgt. Nestor Baird said at a news conference today that police are seeking Gordon Braaten and Hugh McIntosh. Each have been charged with murder and attempted murder.

Both men are known to police and have known involvement in the local drug trade. RCMP believe this homicide was targeted.

Jason Glover died from injuries he suffered in Friday’s Brocklehurst shooting, and one other person was taken to hospital with injuries afterward. There’s been no update on that person’s condition.

Braaten and McIntosh are considered armed and dangerous. Police ask if you know of their whereabouts, call 911 and do not confront them.

Braaten is described as white, 35 years old, 6′ tall, 165 lbs. with short brown hair, green eyes and an athletic build.

McIntosh is described as white, 51 years old, 5’8″ tall, 190 lbs., with shaved, balding brown hair, green eyes and a medium build.

Police say Glover was likely known to both men.
