KAMLOOPS — The Blazers are like deer in headlights —— a 5-3 loss in Victoria last night was their 11th straight defeat on the road.

Since going 7-3-1 away, they’re 0-10-1 since their last road win November 23 in Tri-Cities.

Last night they fell behind 4-0 before Martin Lang scored his 8th of the season at 12:05 of the third period.

Kyrell Sopotyk with his 6th and Zane Franklin his team leading 20th scored the other Blazers goals in the final two minutes and 18 seconds of the third.

The Blazers remain two points ahead of Prince George for the final wild card playoff.

Team captain Jermaine Loewen continues to struggle offensively.

Loewen, who led the team with 36 goals last season, is stuck at 11 goals and hasn’t scored since December 5th.

He has just one assist in nine games since returning from his second suspension of the season.
