Thompson Blazers smoking opposition at KIBIHT

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Zone Blazers from Kamloops have finished the round robin at the Kamloops International Bantam Ice Hockey Tournament with a 6-0 win over the Chilliwack Bruins.

The Blazers outscored their opponents 31-0 in going 3-and-0 —– 13-0 over Comox Valley, 12-0 against the Yukon Rivermen and 6-0 over Chilliwack —– to secure the number one seed going into the playoff round.

The Thompson Zone and Chilliwack will meet again in the quarterfinals today at 5pm at the McArthur Island NHL rink.
