KAMLOOPS — On-street parking rates in Kamloops will see an increase come Jan. 1.

The rates go into place on New Year’s Day, and will affect metered on-street parking.

The rates will be $1.50 per hour for the first two hours, and $3 for the third hour.

In a news release, the City of Kamloops says it wants to remind residents that there are two ways to pay for parking: any of the pay stations in the downtown core or by using the Whoosh! app.
