Pedestrian fatality in Valleyview Friday morning

KAMLOOPS — A man returning home from what police say was a “work-related holiday celebration” was killed after being hit by a vehicle early this morning on the Trans Canada Highway.
Police were called out about 12:15 AM, after reports a man had been hit as he tried to cross the highway at Comazzetto Road.
Staff Sergeant Mat. Van Laer says it’s another reminder to look after one another during the holiday season to ensure everyone has a safe way home.
Alcohol was involved at the celebration, but there’s no indication yet whether alcohol was involved in the incident.
