Police in Dawson Creek investigating suspicious death

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — Police in Dawson Creek are investigating a suspicious death over the weekend.

RCMP responded to the parking lot of the Pouce Pub for a man laying down on Dec. 8 at 7:48 a.m. The man was unresponsive and taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police say in a news release that the death appears to be suspicious and officers are asking the public for information. At this point nothing suggests the greater public is at risk.
