KAMLOOPS — An exhibitor at the Kamloops Art Gallery is giving away the firewood that has been part of her art installation since September.

According to a KAG news release, Eleanor King’s exhibition Inverted Pyramids and Roads to Nowhere explores “the enduring paradox of our need to use natural resources and our desire to preserve these resources for the future.”

It has included a quantity of split fir firewood gathered from the region.

Visitors between Dec. 15 and 29 are invited to take up to one armful of firewood per person.
