Kamloops postal workers off the job today (Wednesday)

OTTAWA — Kamloops postal workers are back on a 24-hour rotating strike.

The Kamloops workers went off the job at 10:00 PM Tuesday night, meaning there will be no mail delivery today (Wednesday).

The spectre of back to work legislation is looming as members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers continue their rotating strikes for a fifth week.

CUP-W National President Mike Palecek says the threat is unwelcome and undermines the chances of negotiated settlements.
