Multi-car accident impacting traffic on Highway 1 in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Crews are responding to a multi-vehicle accident on Highway 1 in Kamloops this evening.

A witness says four vehicles were involved in the crash and one vehicle seems badly damaged. The incident happened west of the Peterson Creek bridge, just before the exit for Summit Drive.

The witness states that one lane is open.

It’s not yet clear if anyone was injured, or what the cause of the crash may have been.
