KAMLOOPS — Students at Thompson Rivers University are set to hold a rally today in support of fellow students across the country.

The TRU bachelor of social work and human services students will be holding a rally in solidarity with the 54,000 Quebec students, who are on strike protesting unpaid internships in their field and other helping professions.

The rally will be held at 2:30 p.m. today (Nov. 21) in front of the Arts and Education Building at the university.

Students are hoping to advocate for paid student internships on provincial and national levels across Canada.
