KAMLOOPS — Police in Kamloops are investigating a vehicle fire on the North Shore.

Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in a news release that officers were called to a vehicle fire in the alley of the 500 block of Linden Avenue at 8:00 p.m. last night (Nov. 4).

A witness reported that two men had set fire to the vehicle, which was parked and empty at the time.

The only description of the suspects are that they were both roughly 6' tall, one wearing a white hoodie and the other wearing a red hoodie. Both men had their hoods pulled up.

After starting the fire, the two men were seen running down the alley and appeared to have gotten into a vehicle before driving away.

Kamloops Fire Rescue extinguished the fire and there were no injuries.
