Blazers Loewen suspended for four games by the WHL

KAMLOOPS — Blazers forward Jermaine Loewen has been suspended for four games for a check to the head in last Friday’s game against Portland.

Loewen was given a five minute major and game misconduct for a check to the head of Portland player Matthew Quigley at 10:12 of the first period of last Friday’s game against the Winterhawks

Quigley left the game and never returned.

He also missed Portland’s game in Everett on Saturday.
