Kamloops Crime Stoppers targets illegal dumping in Lac du Bois

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops & District Crime Stoppers has partnered with BC Parks to help protect the Lac du Bois Grasslands.

They’ve done so by erecting a new sign there that offers ways to help catch people dumping illegally or destroying the grasslands.

Assistant Coordinator Sue Brown says the sign has been in the works for about a year and was initiated by now-retired coordinator Mark Price.

“So, we got on board with them (BC Parks) and erected the sign so that people could see it and know that we are working in partnership to help protect our environment and the grasslands.”
