Former Blazers named to Team Canada for WHC

KAMLOOPS — Former Kamloops Blazers defenceman Joel Edmundson is among the first 18 players named to Team Canada for the World Hockey Championship next month.

Edmundson, who now plays for the St. Louis Blues, played 34 games with the Blazers after being acquired from Moose Jaw part way through the 2012-13 season.

Canucks forward Bo Horvat and Connor McDavid from the Oilers have also been named to the Team Canada roster.
