Alberta RCMP say murder suspect may have been seen in Kamloops

LAC LA BICHE, AB — RCMP in Lac La Biche, Alberta, say a suspect in a 2017 murder in that community may have been seen in Kamloops.

The shooting death of Michael Mountain happened on October 28, 2017.

While 53 year old Margaret Simon was arrested and charged as an accessory, police are still looking for her son, 25 year old Lloyd Wesley Boudreau.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Boudreau’s arrest, and police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators believe Boudreau may be in the company of 25 year old Mandi Leigh Boucher.

In addition to Kamloops, police are following up on tips that the pair may have been seen in the Alberta communities of Lac La Biche, St. Paul, Boyle, Camrose and Edmonton.

Lloyd Boudreau is described as:

  • Metis male
  • 188 lbs
  • 5’6″ tall
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Tattoos on neck and right side of face

Mandi Boucher is described as:

  • Metis woman
  • Approximately 155 cm (5″1″) in height
  • Approximately 68 kg (150 lbs) in weight
  • Brown hair
  • Green eyes
