Kelowna police try to find owner of stolen hockey cards

KELOWNA — RCMP are making an effort to track down the rightful owner of nearly a dozen collectable hockey cards seized by police as suspected stolen property.

The items were seized sometime ago from an alleged shoplifter, with that case now concluded in the courts.

RCMP warn of suspicious occurrence near Armstrong school

ARMSTRONG, B.C. — RCMP are investigating what they call a suspicious occurrence near Armstrong Elementary School.

Police received a report of a suspicious man, who attempted to speak to two girls who were walking home from school around 3 pm last Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 5).

RCMP looking for man wanted in 2015 sexual assault

KAMLOOPS — RCMP are asking for the public's help tracking down a man wanted in a sexual assault that took place two years ago.

Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says Dolapo Ibukun Babatunde was arrested and charged shortly after the alleged assault in 2015.

Months-long RCMP investigation takes down Red Scorpions in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP say a months-long investigation has put a big dent in the local drug trade, which is in part controlled by the Red Scorpions street gang.

The local detachment's Targeted Enforcement Unit began the probe in October of last year.

Sunday night stabbing in Kamloops may have been case of mistaken identity

KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops man is recovering after he was stabbed in what may have been a case of mistaken identity.

RCMP say the man was leaving the 7-11 store downtown at about 9:00 last night when he was followed by a woman on a BMX bike.
