HIGHLIGHTS: Blazers drop 4-1 decision, fourth loss in a row

That was the only mistake in the game for Miner, who with 39 saves was the in house first star.

The Giants tied it late in the first when a shot in by Tyler Benson came off the backboards — with Dylan Ferguson trying to figure out which way the rebound was going, Davis Koch jumped on it for his 22nd.

Vancouver then scored twice in the first four minutes of the second. First, New York Rangers prospect Ty Ronning with his 60th of the season, and then Milos Roman on a passout by James Malm from behind the net.

Dylan Ferguson came out with a minute and a half left in the third for a sixth attacker —- the Blazers put on one last push before Tyler Benson scored into an empty net to make the final 4-1.

At the end of the game Giants overage forward Darian Skeoch, who has had several battles with Loewen this season, went to the Blazers 19-year old scoring leader, congratulated him on scoring his 35th goal, shook Loewen’s hand and wished him good luck.

The Blazers will close out the season this weekend with two games against Prince George.
