Longtime owner of the BCHL Vernon Vipers has died

KAMLOOPS — The longtime owner of the B.C. Hockey League Vernon Vipers has died.

Duncan Wray passed away in his sleep last night.

Wray had owned the Vipers since 1992.

Under his ownership the Vipers have won four national junior “A” championships and seven B.C. Hockey League Championships.
