KAMLOOPS — Get your shovels and snowblowers ready, another wintry blast is headed Kamloops’ way.

Environment Canada meteorologist Cindy Yu says another system is moving through southern B.C. tonight through the overnight period into tomorrow morning.

“And that’s going to be the snowmaker that we’ve mentioned in our special weather statement,” she tells CFJC Today. “We see widespread snow. Overall at this point it looks like we’ll be getting five to 10 centimetres of snow and possibly more than 15 centimetres through the highways.”

Yu says the snow could linger through late tomorrow afternoon into the evening before it makes way for a transition Friday.
