Blazers lose in Brandon

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers out played and out shot the Brandon Wheat Kings, but lost 3-2.

Brandon broke a 1-1 tie with two second period goals when the Blazers ran into penalty trouble.

The Wheat Kings went 1-for-5 on the power play.

Garrett Pilon with his 16th of the season and Carson Denomie this third, had the Kamloops goals.

The Blazers outshot Brandon 45-33.

They are now 1-1-1 on the East Division road trip and two games under .500 on the season.
