SASKATOON, SK — The Kamloops Blazers got a pair of power-play goals, as they beat the Saskatoon Blades 4-1 in the second game of their six-game prairie swing.

Luc Smith opened the scoring for the Blazers late in the first period. Luke Zazula scored the eventual game-winner early in the second, and Nick Chyzowski would add another in the middle frame to put Kamloops up 3-0.

The Blades would get on the board in the third, but hometown kid Garrett Pilon would score an empty net goal late in the final frame to finish off Saskatoon.

Dylan Ferguson stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced, to secure his 10th win of the season.
