Remembrance Day Ceremonies set for Kamloops Saturday

KAMLOOPS — Everything is ready for Saturday’s Remembrance Day Ceremonies in Kamloops.

The Royal Canadian Legion and the City of Kamloops are hosting the ceremonies at the Cenotaph in Riverside Park.

The ceremonies will start at 10:45 AM with the mounting of the Cenotaph Guard. The Colour Party and Veterans Company will march on at 10:55 AM.

Following the ceremonies, there will be a parade from the Cenotaph led by the Kamloops Pipe Band. It will head out onto Lorne Street, up 1st Avenue to Victoria Street, east on Victoria Street past the reviewing stand in the 200 block Victoria, to the disperal point in the 500 block Victoria Street.
