KAMLOOPS — The Karla Thompson rink from Kamloops is out of the chase at the Olympic curling pre-trials in Summerside, PEI.
Thompson lost 9-8 to Winnipeg’s Darcy Robertson last night.
At 1-and-4 in the seven team round robin pool, and with one draw left, the Thompson rink won’t make the top three for playoffs.
On the men’s side the Jim Cotter/John Morris rink won this morning to improve to 3-and-2 to clinch no worse than a tie breaker.
