UBC downs women’s WolfPack soccer in home opener
KAMLOOPS, BC—After spending their first four Canada West matches on the road, the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women’s soccer team finally had their home opener.
The ‘Pack, coming off their first win of the season had a tough one in the most potent offense in the league—the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds on Saturday (Sept 23) at Hillside Stadium.
The Thunderbirds handed TRU their fourth loss in five starts. UBC outshot TRU 30-10.
Jasmin Dhanda of UBC—the Canada West’s leading scorer—had four goals as she moved to nine on the campaign. It was UBC’s highest scoring match of the year.
