KAMLOOPS — Dylan Ferguson has his first NHL shutout --- even though it was exhibition and a rookie game.

It was also the first win of any kind in Vegas Golden Knights franchise history.

Ferguson was in goal for the entire game in the Golden Knights 4-0 win over the Los Angeles Kings in a rookie game Wednesday in California.

In a post game interview Ferguson said "it's a dream come true, putting on this jersey was the best feeling I've had in awhile, and I'm grateful for the game and how it turned out."

Ferguson is expected to join the Golden Knights roster for main camp starting Thursday.
