TNRD update evacuations orders and alerts for Elephant Hill fire

KAMLOOPS — With the significant fire activity on the Elephant Hill fire today, the TNRD has issued more evacuation orders and alerts for residents in the area.

Properties on the southwest flank of the fire along the Highway 99 corridor have been ordered to evacuate. There’s also been significant activity on the southeast side of the fire, which prompted the evacuation order for the Skeetchestn Indian Band, as well properties close to Highway 97 in that Area.
