KAMLOOPS — The Blazers have added another goaltender to their depth chart ahead of training camp —- acquiring 19-year old Kyle Dumba from Calgary for a conditional 7th round bantam draft pick.

Dumba has appeared in 51 games in three seasons with the Hitmen — last season in 28 games with a 4.00 goals against and .860 saves percentage.

He’s expected to battle incumbent Dylan Ferguson and Max Palaga for the starting and backup jobs.

Carter Phair, who spent the early part of last season with the Blazers before being reassigned, is batting the effects of concussion syndrome and is questionable for training camp.
