Wells Gray Provincial Park to re-open

CLEARWATER, B.C. — Residents and tourists alike will be allowed to again explore the expansive Wells Gray Provincial Park come 7am, Tuesday July 25th.

The park was closed on Sunday, July 9th out of an abundance of caution due to the extreme fire risk.

No wildfires were ever burning inside the park during the closure.

According to a news release from Tourism Wells Gray, the park is the most visited provincial park in the Thompson-Cariboo region.
