Venom, Tigers lacrosse rivalry one of the best in Kamloops sports

KAMLOOPS — It’s the sixth straight year the Kamloops Venom and Vernon Tigers have met in the Thompson Okanagan Junior Lacrosse League final, and that has helped bred one of the more heated rivalries on the local sports scene.

The teams do not like each other and it shows on the floor, with more than enough physicality to go around. 

The Venom come into Game 3 on Friday night looking for a big bounce-back game following a 12-2 shellacking at the hands of the Tigers in Vernon.
