Former Kamloops golfer to be inducted into Alberta Sports Hall of Fame

KAMLOOPS — Marilyn Palmer O’Connor, who is in the Kamloops Sports Hall of Fame, has been named as a 2017 inductee into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame.

An amateur golf champion, who had a career spanning over 35 years, honed her skills at the Kamloops Golf and Country Club when her father was the pro in the 1950’s and early 60’s.

Palmer O’Connor is also a member of the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame.
