Blazers burn Oil Kings 7-0

KAMLOOPS — The Blazers had a strong home ice performance in a 7-0 win over the Edmonton Oil Kings on Tuesday night at home.

The Blazers scored three times in a span of 3:11 early in the first period. Lane Bauer, Deven Sideroff and Collin Shirley made it a quick 3-0 lead for the Blazers. 

The lead was extended in the second period as Ondrej Vala, Rudolfs Balcers and Bauer added goals to make it 6-0 through two periods. 

Sideroff added a third period goal on a great play from Balcers and Garrett Pilon as the Blazers went on to a 7-0 win over the Oil Kings. 

Connor Ingram recorded his second straight shutout and his fifth of the season. He has not allowed a goal against for 178:07 minutes.

The win improves the Blazers record to 37-19-2-4 on the season and are one point behind the Prince George Cougars for first place in the B.C. Division. 

The Blazers are home next on Friday night when they host the Kelowna Rockets. Game time is 7:00pm at the Sandman Centre.
